Digital Comb Filter

The impulse response of the comb filter resembles an impulse bouncing between two walls, getting weaker with each reflection. The delay time used can be compared to the time it takes the impulse to reflect off a wall and arrive again at the listener. The gain used in the filter can be chosen to achieve a desired reverberation time.
